HOMES BUILT FOR THE WEST COAST
AND FOR THE WAY YOU WANT TO LIVE IN THEM

I'm Bethan Nelson, an ARB-registered architect designing new build homes and whole-house renovations across Argyll & Bute, Morvern and Ardnamurchan pensinsula.

Building or transforming a home here is unlike anywhere else. Exposed sites, wind-driven rain, island logistics and planning rules that differ from one council to the next all shape what is possible, and what it costs.

I work with a small number of clients at a time and lead every project myself, from the first site visit to the day you move in. You deal with one architect who knows your home in detail, not a team that changes between stages.

What I do (three or four cards, each linking to Services)
  • New build homes: a house designed for your plot, your views and your weather.
  • Whole-home renovation: farmhouses, villas and listed buildings, rethought from the inside out.
  • Plot appraisal: know what you can build, and roughly what it will cost, before you buy.
  • Interiors and joinery: kitchens, storage, lighting and materials designed as part of the house, not added later.
